Who's your favorite tough female protagonist? And least favorite?

Of the ones listed I'd have to pick Katniss. She has a lot of courage and at some points she forgets that she can let others become close to her. She often avoids it but sees that she needs her relationships to keep going. That takes courage to admit that you need others to become stronger.
