Taking a semester off from college?

I just finished my freshman year of college. It was great. I loved it. But I'm kinda burned out now. I'm working part time and taking two classes during the summer while I'm home. I just want some time off now. I want to do something different for awhile before my life settles into work and kids. I want to go work at a ski lodge or travel and do missionary work. Just something different.. But what? What can I do during a semester off? Help? :)
