How do you receive baptism of the Holy Spirit in the missionary baptist denomination?

I want to receive the baptism of the holy ghost. Do missionary baptist believe that you automatically receive the holy ghost following water baptism. Or does this occur individually between the believe in God not necessarily in church, but whenever the believers heart is prepared?
