If a woman is left unsatisfied sexually, is it a blow to the male ego?

I read a few polls that stated that most women were incapable of achieving orgasm through intercourse, more specifically through the missionary position. Is it truly a blow to the male ego? I mean, the generally accepted idea of how a man pleases a woman sexually is actually not as satisfying as the men thinks it is. I'm just curious to know what both men and women thought about this.
