Is our relationship already doomed?!?

I wasn't expecting to start liking this girl. I decided to kind of act like a certain guy online. Irl I'm kind of a computer geek and dork. Onn-line I was a cool popular football star. Then I met this girl and got kind of caught up in it. I started liking her and the attention. I even googled a football pic of a guy at one point and pretended that it was me. I thought of telling her but I was worried she wouldn't like me. When she found out from another girl she was mad! Idk what to do or how to fix it and I really like her a lot
