I ordered a book of mormon from mormon.org without the intention of being contacted by missionaries...?

Just tell them that you are curious about their faith and ask them to give you some time to read the Book of Mormon before you have to make any decisions and say that when you're done you'll contact the church again if you are interested in joining, but ask in the meantime to be left alone.
